I really enjoyed Kiss Quotient by Helen Hoang so first of all , My hopes were already so high and I was so excited to read it🤗. But into the book 😩 , I lost it totally. I didn’t know what to think but now I’ll tell you what. It’s still contemporary romance which is so cute you will keep smiling. But at what expense ?. There can’t be only humor in a romance book🌝 can there?

Clearly, I have been ranting since and just to set things straight. I really loved her Autism representation but I felt it would have been a bit too soon. The romance, clearly unrealistic and lack of soul feelings. The worst was with the characters. I couldn’t even walk in anyone’s shoes. Yes ! It’s personal 😂
And the romance was literally bed romance. Uncle Kill Joy 😕 kept on ruining the moment with her and that wasn’t even funny. What is there in telling someone you care about that you love them😩. He felt it too , so what was the fuss about please? Someone , Anyone?
Btw ; Uncle Kill Joy is Khai.
It’s good no one can explain to me what was wrong with him. I loved My’s zeal for education and the importance of Family really played a role. The love she had for her daughter was so cute.
But there’s so many buts for me. It just started out so cliche. Yes ! I know that there might be an asian tradition too , on arranged marriages. This one was supposed to be so good but along the line it just felt like it was rushed.
She fell in love with him so soon , but from my observation, he fell in love first and he couldn’t just tell her. I struggled to finish the book. The concept was lovely yes! But there’s buts to buts anyways🤗.
This is a quick review of my opinion (unpopular opinion) and If you love romance, you will definitely love it🤩💜.

Allow me to disagree ern.😂 In my own opinion, bride test was a really nice book. The character development was nice and the story line was in a way unique and also beautiful. The only thing I’ll say I didn’t like is that the idea of khai’s autism was a bit overstreched. I’m also just concluding my next entry on my blog. And its about another book you didn’t really like. The Unhoneymooners 😂
